Local Attractions

Many visitors appreciate our proximity to the world-famous Butchart Gardens and the beauty of the surrounding region. Day trips to the Parliament Building, Craigdarroch Castle, or the Royal British Columbia Museum are easy to do. Our marina is conveniently situated just 30 minutes north of downtown Victoria. Whether you prefer cultural experiences or a day at the beach, the Marina’s convenient location provides easy access to all.

Anglers Anchorage Marina is the ideal jumping-off point for exploring Victoria’s picturesque Tod Inlet, a short dinghy, kayak or SUP trip away. You can enjoy the Gulf Islands, the San Juan Islands, the Discovery Islands, and Desolation Sound to our north by boat.

The Gulf Islands, stretching from Moresby Island to Gabriola Island, offer fantastic sights throughout the season, dotted with countless secluded anchorages and cozy island towns. San Juan’s 450-odd islands are within easy striking distance to our south. These waters, recently named the Salish Sea, offer some of the world’s best cruising grounds. Further north, you’ll find the Discovery Islands, including Quadra, Cortes, and Sonora. All are rich with history and culture and are the last major island group before Desolation Sound.
